WHAT IS GROW THOMAS COUNTY?
We are excited to share some big news with you—the Thomas County Community Foundation is hosting our second-ever Match Day! This special opportunity is designed to help you build your fund’s endowment while joining together with other organizations to celebrate the power of community giving. In addition to financial support, TCCF provides a platform for our fundholders to share their mission, passions, and plans.
WHEN & WHERE?
When: Tuesday, December 1st, 2026
Where: Colby Event Center, 1200 S. Range Ave., Colby
Time: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

HOW IT WORKS: DONORS
Donors select from a list of endowment funds within TCCF to support in person at our Grow Thomas County event on December 2nd or by mail or online anytime between December 1st at midnight until midnight on the 4th. Gifts will be added to the principal of the selected fund’s endowment at TCCF and are restricted to the 5% spendable rule.
Donor gifts will be matched $1 to $1 up to the matching pool maximum of $50,000. Only one fund can receive a $15,000 match with the next highest award amount of $10,000.
There is no minimum donation amount. Gifts will be matched up to $1,500 per person per fund or $3,000 per household.
For example, if Donor A would like to help three funds at the maximum match amount. Donor A may contribute up to $1,500 per fund for a grand total of $4,500.
HOW IT WORKS: FUNDHOLDERS
Fundholders who have an established endowed fund can be a part of Grow Thomas County’s Match Day event.
Funds will receive gifts from donors that are matched by TCCF $1 for $1 until the pool of $50,000 is used. Only ONE fund will get matched to $15,000 and then next match is $10,000.
Donations are automatically added to the principal of the endowment. Fundholders will be able to access 5% disbursement based on calculations.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Thomas County Community Foundation fundholders with established endowments may participate in Grow Thomas County. A participation agreement will be required to register for the event. HOW DO I DONATE?
IN PERSON: We would love to see you on Tuesday, December 1st, at our Grow Thomas County event from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Colby Event Center located at 1200 S. Franklin Ave., Colby
BY MAIL: Print off our donation form and drop it in the mail with one check made to TCCF at 350 S. Range Ave., Ste. 14, Colby, KS 67701. Checks must be received by Wednesday, December 3rd to qualify for matching funds.
